1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the Construction Technology Android application handles information when you use its construction services catalogue, material guide, favourites, project-brief features and Contact Us option.
2. Information You Enter
The Project Brief form contains the following fields:
- Full name — required. Used to identify the project brief inside the app.
- Phone number — required. Stored with the project brief as customer contact information for your own project record.
- Project city — required. Used to record the location context of the planned project.
- Project type — required. Used to categorise the project brief, such as Residential, Commercial, Grey Structure, Renovation, Architecture & Planning, or BOQ & Cost.
- Approximate covered area in square feet — optional. Used to record an estimated project size.
- Budget range — optional. Used to record an approximate planning budget.
- Project notes — optional. Used to record additional requirements or instructions.
The app also stores your selected favourite services or materials so they can be shown again in Favourites.
3. How Information Is Used
Project-brief information is used only to let you create, review and manage project planning records within the application. Favourites are used to remember the catalogue items you choose to save.
4. Storage, Transmission and Backend
Completed project briefs and favourites are stored in private on-device application preferences. Construction Technology does not use a company backend, Firebase, cloud database, account system or authentication service for these records. Completing a project brief does not automatically send the information to CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY, the developer, or any remote server.
5. Retention
Project briefs remain on your device until you delete an individual brief, use the Clear app data option, clear the app's Android storage, or uninstall the application. Favourite selections remain until you remove them or clear the app data. Android cloud backup is disabled for the application.
6. Deletion Choices
You may delete individual project briefs from the Project Briefs screen. You may remove favourite items by toggling the favourite action. The More screen provides a Clear app data option to remove retained project briefs and favourites. You may also clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.
7. Email Contact
The Contact Us screen can open your installed email application addressed to dev@constructiontechnology.site. Construction Technology does not read your mailbox and does not store the contents you write in the external email application. Once the email application opens, that provider's own privacy practices apply.
8. Internet Access and Images
The app uses Internet access to load construction and building-material photographs from Wikimedia-hosted image URLs. Normal network information, such as an IP address, may be processed by the image host when images are requested. Construction Technology does not use this activity to create an advertising or analytics profile.
9. Permissions and Device Access
The app requests Internet access for remote images. It does not request precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, contacts, call logs, SMS, media-library access, general storage access, Bluetooth, or notification permissions.
10. Ads, Analytics, Accounts and Payments
The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, Firebase, user accounts, authentication, or a payment gateway. It does not collect or store card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials, passwords, or raw payment credentials.
11. Material Rate Information
Material rates shown in the app are public market guidance for Pakistan. They are not personal information and are not official CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY quotations. Actual supplier rates may vary by city, brand, source, quantity and delivery conditions.
12. Data Sharing
The app does not transmit your completed project briefs or favourites to CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY or sell that information to third parties. External network requests occur only as required to load hosted images or when you choose to open your own email application.
13. Security
The app uses Android private application storage for retained project-brief and favourite data. No method of device storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in free-text notes.
14. Children's Privacy
Construction Technology is a general construction-planning and business utility and is not designed to solicit personal information from children.
15. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's features, data practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
